One of the leading scorers in Texas high school basketball with 2362 points
Named high school All State and All American
Two-time All Conference for the University of Texas
Holds 3-point records in teh University of Texas record books
Played one year professionally in Germany
Played with and against many WNBA players including Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslee, and Jennifer Azzi
Named among Lubbock Avalanche Journal Athletes of the Century
Effectively coached 9 years at the college level - Frank Phillips College and Wayland Baptist University
Successfully directed camps, clinics, and individual lessons for more than 10 years

Coach Pointer's passion is West Texas basketball.

"I want to use HOOP 10 to give back to the game and the area that mean so much to me. It's my goal to help every player I teach pratice with purpose and play with passion, whether that means making them a better elementary, junior high, or high school player or realizing potential for a successful college career."
